The new Alchemex Excel Genie for Financials gives you full control over your report design, allowing you to automatically generate meaningful layouts in seconds from raw data in Excel by using an intuitive drag and drop interface to construct the desired layout. It is an add-in built into Excel and licensed with Alchemex.

Alchemex gets your real-time data securely and automatically into an Excel spreadsheet, and the Excel Genie gives you the ability to customise your layout in an instant, supporting multi-level groupings and instant consolidations, and allowing you to automatically create all formulas.

Excel Genie makes reporting simple, flexible and fast:

• Drag and drop pre-defined standard and calculated fields and levels of grouping to build your report.
• Formula Builder gives you the option to create additional calculated fields.
• Excel Genie is not restricted to use in creating financial reports, but can be used for creating all reports. (Sales, inventory, purchases)
• The Refresh Data option synchronises your output with the general ledger to ensure that newly added accounts don’t get ignored.
• Changing the information from month to month is as simple as selecting the change month button from the tool bar.

The ‘what if analyzer’ allows you to change a set of values and get instant visibility of the impact it has on the rest of your data as it is updated on the fly, allowing you to forecast and plan with ease.
