- Alchemex’s brand new Report Designer is the biggest addition to Alchemex 7 and provides users with an intuitive ‘drag & drop’ interface to create advanced financial reports.
- New and improved Security Manager, allowing security settings to be set up faster and easier.
- Universal Query Engine (UQE) functionality has been added, allowing users to build advanced queries previously impossible due to limitations on certain ODBC drivers. The new UQE interprets SQL queries and performs data manipulation after data is pulled through an ODBC driver, expanding your options for advanced queries.
- Multi-Tenanting: Improved multi-company support, reports can now be restricted to specific companies ensuring that only relevant reports are made available for correct companies
- Multi-company consolidations have been made easier with the inclusion of new prebuilt consolidation connections within the Administrator Tool. Alchemex 7 Smart Reporting now caches company names as you access each of your company’s data sources and allows you to simply specify on consolidation reports which companies you would like to consolidate from within the report properties available within the Report Manager.
- Many other tweaks and small enhancements that ensure a stable experience.

accounts and supports drill down and consolidations. Displays balances per General
Ledger Account number per financial period for the current financial year, previous
financial year and current budget year. Layouts are automatically grouped and
subtotalled by Financial Group. Fully customisable using native Excel to suit any
mapping and layout requirements.
